(Shizuoka, Nara, Osaka & Tokyo)
The land of the rising sun is a place where tradition fuses together with progression. Being a place of perfection, craft & technology, this is a small trip of wonder as we go look into what makes Japan, Japan.
When  you first arrive in Japan, what will surprise you is the amazing infrastructure they have achieved with their development. Vast systems stretch across the island nation like veins throughout the body, giving access to everyone to go anywhere.
Whilst traveling, you will also realise that the community is deeply integrated to their system. Be it corporations, tourism or community, this system is the literal emodiment of a nation's lifeline.
Despite the hustle, what i realised is that there is a lot of spirituality within Japan. A strong spiritual guidance guides and shapes the uniqueness of Japan we see today. We can see mostly temples and shrines which are built that are dedicated to their local god / deities.
Kunōzan Tōshō-gū Shrine dedicated to enshrine Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu where the architecture reflects a Shin-Butsu Shugo–a combination of Shinto and Buddhism.
The Japanese are also pretty well connected to the natural aspect of their lands. With a rich geographical landscape and seasonal change, the lands are constantly showing a new face and it gets a little irresistible not to drool at this ever-changing beauty. Not to mention that connecting to nature is a hobby that appeals to all ages.

As you wonder through town, you can feel a sense of nostalgia flowing through you. Despite being one of the most technologically advance nations in the world, you are taken back in time as you see some a blend of tradition in this modern nation from retaining cultural aspects of design into their lives to the overhanging web of powerlines that keeps the grid running.
Of course the people also reflect this modernity just as finely. Pride and perfection is strived for in this pursuit of craft and is most arguably one of the most cultural icon of Japan. After all, the people make the place.
Also, no trip to Japan is complete with more temple visiting. Temples / Shrines in Japan do not house a particular deity throughout and each establishments houses a different being.
Despite a light sprinkle, it does not dampen spirits at Tōdai-ji
At this point of time, it is pretty much just me trying to get as much as possible during my stay in Japan. Enjoying the sights and food as much as a local. After all, whats better than just diving in and experiencing things on a blank slate.

Not to mention a small shoutout to our favourite symbols of Protection, Luck & Wisdom.
This pretty much wraps up my trip in Japan but being the place of inspiration for me since young due to anime and manga, it definitly strikes a cord in my heart. So here are some bonus imagery for your viewing. Enjoy!
